You know I forgot that when you start working with kids. . .that you get EVERYTHING they get! I’ve had a mild cold, the throw up flu, and now I have a nasty cold. I have only missed one day of work with all this, so that’s a good thing. Other then that life here is real good! I still love both of my jobs and because I am so active I have lost 5 more pounds since starting to work. I did stress a little over the deli job as my 3 week review came up, I guess it was okay though as nothing was said. It’s a fun job and interesting.

I did have one thing happen…. A friend in group take my blood sugar readings, well I had my doctor order the test at the lab…. I have a impaired fasting glucose now. You know if it’s not one thing its another! It’s not too high as I have a value of 106 but I see a dietician on Monday after I go to group. My doctor wants to see if diet will take care of it first and I have to have fasting test every 6 months now. Most in my family have been able to control it with diet and walking until they were in there 70’s and 80’s! Oh and since I have moved and started working my smoking has been cut WAY back!

Any way a friend and I had a fight about the sugar levels… I don’t know he just kind of went off and I was getting screwed by my HMO and I should be on insulin…. None of which is true. There is no doctor in the world that would put me on insulin with that low of number! So I’m not sure that we are still friends as it sounded like he pretty much ended it with me, sad really if that was his choice; real sad. You know my HMO has never screwed me and has saved my life several times; even when I didn’t want they too. And boy in the last few years even though mistakes were made they corrected them and really came through for me. I am alive and now able to enjoy my life willingly and gratefully.
